About Us

Our impact

Nottingham Forest Football Club in the Community was established as a charitable trust in October 2010. However, the club’s community programme had been in operation since 1990 delivering a wide range of football related practical activity projects across Nottinghamshire.

Nottingham Forest in the Community now has over 20 full time staff delivering a wide range of physical and learning activities throughout the City and County of Nottingham from its base at The City Ground home of double European Cup winners Nottingham Forest Football Club.

Our strategic goals focus on improving health & wellbeing, encouraging participation in sports and providing education and employment opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds across Nottinghamshire.

Delivering programs alongside a wide-range business, government and charity partners is core to how we operate and crucial to our success.

National Citizen Service

Don’t miss out on the experience of a lifetime. National Citizen Service (NCS) is an exciting opportunity for young people to build skills for work and life, while having fun and meeting new friends. NCS is available exclusively to 15-17 year olds in Nottingham City and County.
In your first week of NCS, you’ll live with your team at an outdoor activity centre, getting to know each other and experiencing the freedom of being away from home with new friends. Next up, you’ll be reunited with your group to live together in university-style accommodation.
Not only will you learn to cook for yourselves (think roast dinners, not beans on toast!), but you’ll also get some life skills that make for a killer CV. Finally you get the chance to put everything you’ve gained from NCS into practice. Working with your team, you’ll design your own project that will really make a mark on your local community.

Please use the attached documents to complete your contract to participate. This is required before you are able to start the programme. If you have any level of support requirement, even quite minor, please complete the support assessment and return both documents to NCS staff.
